On the death of members and benefactors
We also pray during the Holy Eucharist, in accordance with our status, for any Member or Associate who has died (Constitution C19).
The old Constitution (D67) recommends that all priests should celebrate the Holy Eucharist for the repose of his soul. Those who are not priests should participate in the Holy Eucharist for the same intention. In addition, all are asked to recite a Rosary of five decades or, altrnatively, to offer one day's recitation of thier Breviary Prayers (using the Office of the Dead whereeve convenient).
In November we pray for deceased members, associates and benefactors (Constitution C19).
The old Constitution (D66) recommends that priest members should celebrate the Holy Eucharist once for deceased members, associates, helpers and benefactors. Those who are not priests should share in the Holy Eucharist for the same intentions. In addition, all are asked to recite a Rosary of five decades or, alternatively, to offer one day's recitation of their Breviary Prayers.
