The new buildings of the Second Cycle of Formation at Chelsea Marina situated on the banks of the Nairobi Dam opposite the Kibera slums was officially blessed by Fr. Anthony Chantry MHM, the General Superior on Sunday, 26 August 2007 at a colourful ceremony which took place after the celebration of Mass.
The buildings are now officially called the St. Joseph's Formation Centre. The Centre consists of a number of ordinary family houses for the staff and students around an inner courtyard. Twenty students from Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines and India have taken up residents at the Centre since the beginning of August while continuing their studies at Tangaza Theological College.
During the Mass, one of the Temporary members, Sylvester Odhiambo Owino took his Perpetual Oath in the presence of all those who have gathered for the occasion.
