A Cluster Meeting took place in Iloilo, the Philippines between 14th and 17th april 2009 to further discuss the possible creation in the future of an Asian Region. Those who attended were the following:-

Terry Burke (Malaysia-Indonesia)
Liam Durrant (Philippines)
Vincent Oates (India)
Brendan Mulhall (Councillor for Asia)
The meeting was able to come up with some clearer suggestions concerning the possible structure of an Asian Region and also concerning the election of a Regional.
It was an opportunity for the Region to come closer together and to discuss ways in which refocusing on Asia may take place, while maintaining global solidarity with the other Regions. The possibilities of wider recruitment in Asia and the feasiblity of this were examined.
