Jimmy Lindero

Jimmy Lindero from Janiuay, Iloilo became the ninth Filipino to be a member of St. Joseph’s Missionary Society when he became a Perpetual member on 28 October 2006  together with Damian Fuh and Emmanuel Mbeh from Cameroon, in the presence of Fr. Fons Eppink, Regional Superior, fellow Mill Hillers, students and friends at the Mill Hill House in Nairobi, Kenya.  On 18 November 2006, the three of them were ordained deacons with two Filipino Comboni students by Bishop Willegers MHM, Bishop of Jinja, Uganda.  Jimmy completed four years of theological studies in Nairobi and a two year mission exposure among the Muslim people on the Kenyan coastal district of Witu.  Jimmy was ordained a priest on Saturday, 28 April 2007 in his hometown while Damien and Emmanuel were both ordained on Wednesday 11 April 2007 at St. Joseph's Cathedral in Bamenda, Cameroon by Archbishopo Cornelius Fontem Esua assited by Archbishop Antoine Ntalou of Garoua. Jimmy has been appointed to work in Sindh, Pakistan.
