The last lay associate to be sent off from St. Joseph's College signed her contract of association with St. Joseph's Missionary Society before the few remaining residents there in September 2006.

Rev. Emmanuel Mbeh appointed to Kroonstad, South Africa as from 11/4/2007, Rev. Damien Fuh appointed to Malakal, Sudan as from 11/4/2007 and Rev. Jimmy Lindero appointed to Sindh, Pakistan as from 24/4/2007.

On 18 December 2006, the staff of the college were treated to a sumptuous buffet at a local hotel in appreciation of their years of employment at the college.
